... from now, I can leave it all behind. Just forget about everyone and everything else in the world; it doesn't even exist. I'll lay it all on the line and I won't stop until the time bell rings. In 48 hours I get to wrap my hands around bars and clutch stones to my chest. I will voluntarily push my lower back to the point of failure and I can't wait. I'm anxious, nervous, excited, and most importantly, ready.
The Monsters of the Mall in Salina, Kansas is the first big contest of the year. I've been waiting for it all winter like a bear ready for spring to break. The top amateurs in the United States are going to be there with the same goal as me: to win and become a professional.
