Fit Expo: Final Results - February 18, 2007

After three full days of competition, the final results are in:

In the overhead press medley, each competitor was challenged to lift 4 objects overhead in the least amount of time. The objects were: A 181 lb circus dumbbell (pressed with one hand), a 300 lb stone, a 330 lb log, and a 330 lb axle. Wisconsin native Jason Bergmann took top honors in the event and was one of only two competitors who raised 3 of the 4 objects overhead.

The final event of the weekend was the farmers walk medley. Each competitor had to carry all three sets of objects (a pair of 350 lb suitcases, a pair of 385 farmers walk implements, and a 900 lb timber frame) across the line in the shortest time.

5/6 (tie). Corey St Clair and Marshall White.

With his victory in the farmers walk medley, veteran Karl Gillingham sealed the overall victory and earned an invitation the prestigious Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus, OH in March. Congratulations to him and all competitors who turned in impressive performances this weekend, showing that America is a serious contender on the world stage.
