Do strongmen get a lot of women?

--credit to no one in particular, because I get asked this question everyday.

Well, I can only tell you about my experiences and those of my friends. For us, the answer is 100% yes. I fall into the category of lean, athletic-looking strongman, or "the bodybuilder type." I would say that 30-40% of women in general are curious about the whole idea behind strongman and get "turned on" by the huge muscles and the feats of strength. Of course, some women find it scary, weird, or freaky and want nothing to do with us. But the ones that like it; well they more than make up for the ones that don't.

I'm married and my wife is with me a lot, but this does not stop girls from staring at me, or coming right up to me and starting a conversation. If I am out with friends, I usually get hit on at least three times a night. I'm not bragging; I'm really just average-looking. At first, I was as mystified as you probably are right now. I've come to accept that it must be the body. I'm always polite, and fortunately (for my marriage), the conversation always turns to strongman. Many of them really love hearing about how much we lift and the things we can do that very few others can. I've always loved the attention. I mean, who wouldn't? Plus, it's nice thinking you have a few fans out there that might see you on TV someday. All in all, strongman's been very very good to me.

Now, there are guys that are strong as hell, but have more of the farm-boy build. I can't answer for them. I would assume they get their fair share of girls who are into that. You have to remember that no matter who you are, someone out there thinks you're hot. You just have to find them.

So MUSCLES get chicks. Here I thought I had to get a "job" or be "stable" or "sane". (pulls stomach roll) Yea, its about time for me to get buff too. Damn..

seriously???? You guys look aren't athletic looking at all- just big, fat guys- that is why people stare!

I have to say, I find the farm-boy build to be more attractive than the typical muscle-man build.

Than again, I also have strange, strange taste in men.
